The Situation
Canadians declared All Dressed as their fave flavour, while Americans were declaring a flavour that we didn’t even have, their staple: Cheddar & Sour Cream. It was high time for Ruffles to save Canadians the cross-border trip by bringing the offering to Canada, but the hurdle they were facing was figuring out how to get those ride-or-die fans to crown the new Cheddar & Sour Cream flavour as the Greatest Ruffles of All Time.
The Solution
We tapped on multiple popular social media creators, giving them creative freedom to speak to their audience in the most effective way. Not only did this help drive product awareness across all target demographics, but we asked the creators to spark up a debate - which Ruffles flavour is the GROAT? The discourse in the comments section on every video prompted stellar engagement with fans going head to head, converting comments into real sales.
The TikTok campaign itself garnered a 60% higher CTR and a 293% higher view-through rate compared to platform benchmarks, with a total of 41M+ campaign impressions across Meta, Snapchat and TikTok.
