Health Solutions by Shoppers Drug Mart offers innovative programs that help employers manage costs of health benefits, while prioritizing employee wellbeing. While the Shoppers Drug Mart name is well-known and recognized across Canada, Health Solutions is a recent addition to the product suite and needed to reach more employers so they could adopt the system into their workplaces and put their employee wellbeing first. Health Solutions needed a social media strategy for LinkedIn to generate more brand awareness from employee benefits brokers and HR decision makers.
Keeping our target audience top of mind, we developed content pillars within our social media strategy that provided genuine value to employee benefits brokers. We created visual assets that provided bite-sized information about Health Solutions so brokers could understand the product and sell it more effectively.
Through our paid boosting strategy as well as our key content pillars, we’ve successfully grown our LinkedIn presence by 40,000 monthly impressions on average. Thanks to our dynamic content geared to our data-backed specific target audience demographic, we perform at an engagement rate that is 2.7x higher than the industry average. Additionally, our sponsored content strategy sees an engagement rate that is 9.8x higher than industry average, and a click-thru rate that is 2.35x higher than industry average, directing employee benefits brokers directly to the Health Solutions website to learn more about the product.
